Lane-Poole, Charles Edward (1885 - 1970)

Born: 16 August 1885  Eastbourne, Sussex, England.  Died: 22 November 1970  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Charles Edward Lane-Poole was Conservator of Forests, Western Australia 1916-26, and in 1922 undertook a survey of the timber resources of Papua and New Guinea. From 1926-45 he was Inspector-General in the Commonwealth Forestry School, Canberra.
