Gregory, John Walter (1864 - 1932)

Geologist and Geographer
Born: 27 January 1864  Bow, England.  Died: 2 June 1932  Urumamba River, Peru.
John Walter Gregory was Professor of Geology, University of Melbourne from 1899 and was Director of the Geological Survey of Victoria from 1901-04. He left Melbourne in 1904 to take up a chair at the University of Glasgow.
