Eyre, Edward John (1815 - 1901)

Born: 5 August 1815  Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, England.  Died: 20 November 1901  Tavistock, England.
Edward John Eyre was an explorer and Magistrate in South Australia, Lieutenant-Governor of New Zealand 1846-53, of St. Vincent 1854-60 and Governor-in-Chief of Jamaica in 1864.
