Etheridge, Robert (1846 - 1920)

Born: 23 May 1846  Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.  Died: 5 January 1920  Colo Vale, New South Wales, Australia.
Robert Etheridge was a member of the Geological Survey of Victoria 1866-69 and joined the Geological Survey of New South Wales in 1887. Between 1895-1920 he was Director of the Australian Museum, Sydney and published widely on ethnography and palaeontology.
