Downes, Ronald Geoffrey (1916 - 1985)

Born: 3 January 1916 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Died: 2 May 1985.

Ronald Geoffrey Downes was Director of Conservation and Permanent Head of the Ministry of Conservation, Victoria 1973-79; he was formerly a member of the Soil Conservation Authority, Victoria 1950-73.
