George Busby was Assistant Colonial Surgeon at the Norfolk Island penal settlement 1826-28 and then the officer in charge of the Convict Hospital at Bathurst. In 1842 this hospital became the Bathurst District Hospital. |

Son of John Busby and brother of James Busby (qq.v.). | |
