Thomas Oakley Browning was Senior Lecturer 1953-62 and the Waite Professor of Entomology 1963-83, University of Adelaide. He was Director of the International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology, Nairobi 1971-77. |

Chairman, Environment Protection Council of South Australia 1987-88. |
