Thomson, Alexander Morrison (1841 - 1871)

Geologist and Chemist

Born: 4 February 1841 London, England. Died: 16 November 1871 Newtown, New South Wales, Australia.

Alexander Morrison Thomson was Reader in Geology and Mineralogy, University of Sydney from 1866 and the inaugural Professor of Geology in 1869.
