Scott, William (1825 - 1917)

Astronomer and Member of clergy

Born: 8 October 1825 Hartland, Devon, England. Died: 29 March 1917 Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.

William Scott was Colonial Astronomer, New South Wales 1856-1862 and instituted the collection of meteorological records of New South Wales.
