Ligar, Charles Whybrow (1811 - 1881)

Surveyor and Soldier

Born: 1811 Ceylon. Died: February 1881 Texas, United States of America.

Charles Whybrow Ligar was appointed Surveyor-General of New Zealand 1841; he was Surveyor-General of Victoria 1858-69.
