Baines, (John) Thomas (1822 - 1875)

Born: 1822  King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.  Died: 1875.
(John) Thomas Baines visited Australia to take part in A.C. Gregory's North Australian Expedition 1855-56 and to record the activities of the expedition in drawings and water colours. He spent much of his life working in southern Africa.
