Description:2 digital audio tapes (c. 75 minutes) and 30 page transcript. se talks about her family background; schooling at Brisbane Girls' Grammar School; undergraduate degree at University of Queensland; MSc thesis on lifetime production of sheep in north west Queensland and doctoral studies on the Queensland merino industry and her work in designing efficient breeding programs in studs. She then talks about her involvement in Woolplan; work in genetics and breeding programs and her views on the future of merinos. Rose then gives her views on women and science and discusses her career highlights.
