Description:Records relating to the design, construction and installation of the SILLIAC computer at the Adolph Basser Computer Laboratory, School of Physics, University of Sydney in the 1950s. SILLIAC was the second stored program electronic computer to be built
in Australia. The records consist of a folder of diagrams of the computer,
1952-61, 1970; microfilm copies of diagrams of the computer, 1950-63, manuals,
1957-67; log books, 1957-59; the magnetic tape store development log, 1959-62;
files re the construction and maintenance of the computer, 1932, 1948-65;
University of Illinois publications about the ILLIAC computer, 1952-61; and
folders of diagrams of various computers, 1962-68.
