Dear Listserv,

thought this might be of interest!

The UCSF Library and CKM, Archives & Special Collections proudly
announces the availability of its departmental website. The website
provides access to primary digital resources as well as departmental
information which will foster research and use. Devoted to the
preservation and maintenace of unique sources in health sciences
information such as manuscripts, faculty papers, university records,
rarebook collections, and other relevant historical materials, the
Archives & Special Collections provides research access for the UCSF
community and the public. Highlights of this website include access to
the department's contemporary collecting projects including the AIDS
History Project, the Biotechnology Archives and the Tobacco Control
Archives. This segment features online finding aids which provide
detailed descriptions of the paper-based collections, and in the case of
the Tobacco Control Archives access to primary documents in digital
form, such as the Brown and Williamson Collection. The website also
features a historical look at the development of the UCSF campus as
illustrated through the department's photograph collections. In
addition, links are available to additional electronic resources on the
internet in the History of Medicine.
