The Alan Mason Chesney Medical Archives of the Johns Hopkins Medical 
Institutions is pleased to announce its new site on the World Wide Web. 
The URL address follows:

http://www.med.jhu.edu/medarchives/awelcome.htm

The web site serves as a virtual tour of the Medical Archives, featuring 
information about the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, the Archives' 
holdings (textual, visual, artifactual), policies for access and use of 
the holdings, and publications. Finding aids to the photograph 
collections and the biographical files are on the site; other finding 
aids will be added as they become "web ready".

Links to staff e-mail are available through the "Personnel" page, and 
current news is provided on the "What's New" page. The "Exhibits" link 
features online exhibits. Currently on view is an exhibit on the 
Blalock-Taussig Blue Baby operation.
