BLOOM, Harry

Born Rosh Pinna, Palestine, 25 December 1921. Education Melbourne University (B.Sc. 1944, M.Sc. 1945, D.Sc. 1961) and Imperial College London (D.I.C., Ph.D. 1947). Lecturer, later Associate professor of chemistry, University of Auckland, 1947-60. Professor of physics & inorganic chemistry University of Tasmania, 1960-81.
