WOOD, Francis John Powell
Born Albury, N.S.W., 10 February 1913. Education, Sydney University (B.Sc. 1934). Assistant, Mt. Stromlo Observatory, 1935-37. Engineer officer RAAF 1937-68; retired as Group Captain. Experimental officer, Aeronautical Research Laboratories, Melbourne, 1968-78.
