Born Melrose, South Australia, 10 June 1895; died Sydney 29 April 1983. Education, Sydney University (B.Sc. 1917). Demonstrator in physics, Sydney University 1917-18; lecturer 1923. Lecturer in physics, Sydney Teachers College 1919-22. Home duties 1924-40, 1945-83. Science teacher, Trinity Grammar School, Sydney, 1940-45.
