Wallis, Alexander Robert (1848 - 1928)

Agricultural scientist
Born: 1848  Ghazipur, India.  Died: 15 May 1928  Dunedin, New Zealand.
Alexander Robert Wallis trained at Cirencester Agricultural College in England. Following the publication of several articles he wrote describing this training the Victorian government set up an experimental farm and then an agricultural college (1886) at Dookie in north-eastern Victoria.
