Allan D. Petterson was Telecom district engineer responsible for the maintenance of the first crossfbar exchange installed at Toowoomba during the 1960s. He developed the automatic disturbance recorder (ADR) which was adopted nationally as a standard instllation for supervising the working of the crossbar exchange. Later he became chief engineer of Telecom WA 1975-83. |
