Percival, Edgar Wikner (1897 - 1984)

Aviator and Aircraft designer
Born: 23 February 1897  Albury, New South Wales.  Died: 21 January 1984  London, England.
Edgar Wikner Percival built the winning entry in the 1924 Australian Aero Club competition to design a light aircraft. He used drawings supplied by H.E. Broadsmith (qv). Later, while working for the Bristol Aeroplane Company, he designed and manufactured the Percival 'Gull', a three-seater, low-wing cantilever monoplane.
