Born: 11 March 1770. Died: 15 September 1830. | |
William Huskisson was Colonial Secretary under Wellington, resigning in 1828 after a disagreement with Wellington over the sliding scale on the Corn Laws. He is remembered by a plaque in the township of Huskisson, 180 km south of Sydney. |
