William Anderson worked for the Geelong Meat Preserving Company , which existed 1871-74. He changed the dimensions of cans used in preserving meat, which reduced their cooking time and improved the quality of the meat. When the Geelong company failed he joined the Melbourne Meat Preserving Company. |
