Meteorologist | |
W. W. (Bill) Moriarty worked as a Research Officer in the Meteorology and Physics Section (now Division of Atmospheric Research) at CSIRO, 1951-1956. He moved to the Bureau of Meteorology in 1970 and worked in the Central Analysis Section and the Research and Development Division. He retired in 1987, as Acting Supervising Meteorologist, Special Services Management. A major part of his career was spent conducting detailed studies into air dispersion, and in 1985 he went to Geneva as Bureau representative on the World Meteorological Organization Working Group on Urban and Building Climatology. |
