Born: 15 August 1905  Colac, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 25 October 1989.
Norman Joseph Favaloro was a solicitor and amateur ornithologist. His special interests were the mallee and hawks.

Career Highlights
Born Colac, Victoria, 15 August 1905. Died 25 October 1989. Educated University of Melbourne. Admitted to practice as Barrister and Solicitor 1 March 1932; practised at Mildura. On behalf of the National Museum, Melbourne, accompanied the Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition to Macquarie Island in 1950 and to Heard Island and Kerguelen Island in 1951. Honorary Ornithologist, Museum of Victoria 1955-84. President, Royal Australasian Ornithologists' Union 1952-54, treasurer 1965-68.
