Newman, Rollo Keith (1903 - 1976) |

Rollo Keith Newman formed the consulting firm of Cooksey, Newman and Archer (later R.K. Newman and Co. Pty Ltd), specialising in chemical analysis. During World War II he was appointed gas identification officer and directed the training of personnel. He joined the Laboratories of the Sydney City Council from 1923 where he worked as a research chemist in the Cancer Research Unit led by Professor H.G. Chapman. Newman was also a teacher of analytical chemistry at the Sydney Technical College for almost 20 years. |
