Arkinstall, Alan Leigh (1915 - 1982)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: 1915  Ardlethan, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 1982.
Alan Leigh Arkinstall was Chief Chemist, Sulphuric Acid Ltd, South Australia from 1955, later transferring to Adelaide & Wallaroo Fertilizers Ltd. He had a reputation of being one of the best "acid men" in the country. He completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Auckland where he worked before arriving in Australia.

1955 - Chief Chemist at Sulphuric Acid Ltd in South Australia and later at Adelaide & Walleroo Fertilizers Ltd.
