Bottomley, Robert Alwyn (1912 - 2004)

Born: 26 March 1912.  Died: 2 September 2004  Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.
Robert Alwyn Bottomley was Vice-President of Research for Mauri Bros. & Thomson Ltd. Sydney 1954-69 and then Assistant General Manager 1970-73. He was earlier Assistant Professor of Agricultural Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota 1947-48. Bottomley was educated at the Royal Melbourne Technical College (Dip Civil Eng), University of Melbourne (MSc) and University of Minnesota, USA (PhD). He was a foundation member of the Australian Industrial Research Group.
