Born: 11 September 1911 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Died: 14 April 1969 Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia. | |
Sydney Dattilo Rubbo was senior lecturer in bacteriology at the University of Melbourne 1937-44. During this time he also did a medical course, where he was both lecturer and class-mate of the graduands of 1943. In 1945 he became Professor of Bacteriology, a position he held until 1969. |
