Born: 1 July 1868 Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. Died: 7 October 1934 Mosmann, New South Wales, Australia. | |
William Sutherland Dun was palaeontologist and librarian for the Geological Survey of New South Wales from 1899 for over 30 years. He also lectured at the University of Sydney from 1902 to 1934 and was honorary palaeontologist to the Australian Museum. William Dun had a sizable publication record and was a long-term councilor and one-time president of the Linnean Society of New south Wales. |
