Martin, Charles James (1866 - 1955)

Physiologist and Pathologist
Born: 9 January 1866  Hackney, England.  Died: 15 February 1955  Cambridge, England.
(Sir) Charles James Martin taught physiology at the University of Melbourne 1897-1903 and was Director of the Lister Institute, London 1903-30. He was then Chief of Animal Nutrition, CSIR and Professor of Biochemistry and General Physiology, University of Adelaide 1931-33.
