Born: 26 November 1824 Petworth, Sussex, England. Died: 27 May 1910 Inverloch, Victoria, Australia. | |||
George Britton Halford was appointed to head the first Australian medical school in 1862 at the University of Melbourne as professor of anatomy, physiology and pathology. He was later professor of physiology 1882-1903. |
